Dear SRS Supporter:

Scoil Rince Slieveloughane (SRS) is an Irish dance school led by Robert Haley.  A teacher and choreographer, Robert is certified by the Irish Dance Commission in Dublin.  SRS is proud to present the Eleventh Annual Dance for Life Feis.  This year the Feis will be held July 26th and 27th at the Sea-Tac Marriott Hotel.  This year the Dance for Life Feis is also hosting a benefit performance and Ceili Saturday, July 26th with the proceeds being donated to Muscular Dystrophy Research.  Sponsorship and donations to this cause are welcome.

What is a Feis?  The Feis, pronounced “fesh,” is a two-day competition of dance and music with participants ranging in ages from 4 to 40.  Men and women come from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada to compete.  The Feis is registered with the Irish Dance Commission and with the North American Feis Commission.  Judges for the Feis come from out-of-state and are certified by the Irish Dance Commission in Ireland.

Admission to the Feis will be applied toward the cost of the facility and other expenses, however, donations in the form of advertising, cash, and trophy and stage sponsorships are being sought to defray remaining expenses.  Acknowledgement of sponsors and advertisers will appear in the Feis program and on trophies or stages as appropriate.

Please check the method of support you prefer below.  Advertising should arrive no later than June 30th, 2008, to be included in the Feis Program.  Checks should be written to SRS Feis or T.I.C.C.
